Fun Bike, Crazy Bike

This is kinda late post. Oh, never mind. I always post something musty, don't I?

Saturday, the 16th of October 2010 there was an event called Bandung Blossom. It's kind of carnival to celebrate Bandung's 200th years anniversary. And I took a part of the carnival as a bikers. HA HA HA once again, bikers ladies and gentleman! #ngapainharusbanggacoba #lebay #abaikan.

I'm not the only participant from 7 Junior High School, of course. We were about 150 people. And participants from my dearest class were me, Shasha, Arin, Indah, Agum, Saras, Upe, Jajas, Dyah, Raja and Endris. We decorated our bicycle as beauty as it could be. But, Shasha and I made a decoration of a "paketan" bicycle. Why we call it a packet bicycle? Because we wrapped it in a brown paper and with a big pink bow on the handlebar. Perfectly a packet bicycle.

On the D-day, I woke up at 5am and found that the weather was awfully bad. Yea, it was raining and I had to take the bicycle to school first before I got to the convoy at Gasibu. So, I recklessly went to school in the pouring rain with another friends.

At Gasibu, we had to wait for 4 hours before we finally cycling. But actually, it wasn't cycling. It was walking with a bicyle. The street was EXTREMELY CROWDED. We had to keep on waiting even when we're biking. And we were biking in the middle of a very hot-burning-day. Because of it my skin turns TAN. Nope, it's not actually tan. It's BLACK and now you can call me si Bolang; Si Bocah Belang ( ._.) (._. ) (._. ) ( ._.)

Enough talking about my exotic skin #menghiburdiri

But we were having so much fun at the convoy. Shasha, Agum, Indah, Saras, Upe, Arin and me were singing ALL THE WAY! We sang Manuk Dadali, every "Pupuhs" that our ex-homeroom have taught us, Ekspresi, Telephone, A Whole New World, Don't Let Me Fall, and etc. And of course because of that, we were being  center attention. Everybody looked at us strangely but we didn't care at all. We had been put out because of the wait and we didn't want to be more upset. So we cheered up ourselves by singing HAHAHAHAHA.

But after all, I have no regrets joining the event because it's really worth it. Especially for the experience I will never have again in the other time.
